My interest in politics did not begin in a classroom.
It began with a belief that government matters because the decisions made by public institutions affect the lives of ordinary people every day.
Returning to higher education was never simply about earning a degree. It was about understanding the institutions, ideas, and policies that shape our communities and our country.
For many people, leaving college would have been the end of the story.
For me, it became unfinished business.
Completing my Political Science degree was not the conclusion of a journey. It was the beginning of a new chapter focused on public affairs, civic engagement, policy discussion, and public service.
I believe informed citizens strengthen democracy, thoughtful debate improves public life, and meaningful change requires both participation and persistence.
